Hello... I have looked around and haven't found it so was wondering if any one has seen it or is using something very similar on their board would be will to share as I fill this would be a very nice feature.

Very Friday (very close to the same time) I get an HTML email with stats and links to threads that have been posted during the week. I like some of the ones that are below for an example but would also like to be able to show journal entries (if allowed by owner) to also be included.

below is an example of what I get:

That's the Community Bulletin Mod for vb2. I haven't seen the vb3 version, but if you do, please let me know.

Regards,

Matt

Thanks Johnny... This is exactly what I am looking for. Do you have it installed? I have read through all of the post and was wondering if the spam prob had been dealt with.

I tried the script out once on my test board but i never really noticed it was being considered as spam because i sent many newsletter to myself to test stuff out and it was going directly to my inbox with no problem so i dont really know,

but it could be the server the people are on that their email address they use to check email for their site might have many spam emails sent to them everyday that the server might of caught some type of virus that could be sending stuff out and they might of been blocked threw other email providers but im not really sure about the spam fix. or it sometimes could be because its considered as spam because your sending one single message to soo many people at one time that the email servers catch it that its happening so its reading it as bulk instead of a regular email from your forums.

Ok... great to hear that then. One other question, what the format like in that actual email... got any screenshots? How hard is it to play around with the layout...

Thanks again for the reply

i dont really remember if u can use html but i do know u can use regular text format, but the layout of it is pretty easy to mess around it. plus you can customize what you want to be sent out in the emails.
