Hi there,

I've searched around and was very excited to know there was this MamboVb port (integrating Mambo and vB). However, I noticed their website (www.mambovb.com) is offline. :disappointed:

Does anyone know about what happened to this port?! Is it available somewhere else? Any contact with the developers?!

I believe I saw in another post someone else trying to do this integration as well, and considering to release it here. Any news?!

I've been looking for other options :tired: , but none of them fulfill my needs. And I'm very positive this port would. If you know something about integrating Mambo with vB, please let me know!

Thanks for your help!!! :)

PS: Btw, I don't really need them to share the same user DB. It would be enough simply to have them co-existing, with integrated presentation - template/style.

Well, if all you need is the same template, that is not that hard to achieve. Twenty minutes or so should be enough to match a vBulletin template with a mambo one.
:p

I'm also in the process of evaluating a cms for vB. Until now I've been working with typo3 for over two years but the more I work with it the less I like it. Extensions are mostly very unflexible and not fully functional (only a hand ful are really good).

I then came to mambo and I was also looking into the various possibilities to work in mambo with vB. Right now I consider buying the tool from www.bbpixel.com It seems to fulfill most of my needs.

Only thing missing in this one is the ability to combine the search of Mambo and vB.

Sorry to bring up an oldish thread.

There is a basic but good Vbulletin and Mambo merge available at www.sankesolutions-hosting.co.uk
Its called mambull.

Worth a look
