I have search about this one but I couldn't found anything usefull.

I have a forum which is for 18+ only and what I wanted to do it make it hidden for people who didn't fill in their birthday or aren't 18 yet.

I know it easy to workaround by changing your birthday but its better then nothing. And what they don't see they can not know :P Untill they turn 18

I don't want to use different usergroups or an official age verification.

there is no real possibility to filter the birthday, you have to deal with that... internet is vast, and users know how to pass around.

if you filter age at registration, and a user is changing the birthday in the userCP, you can't deal with that...

all you have to do is before they register you can state in someplace in the agree to the terms that they must be over 18+ to register that their is adult material on the boards etc....

I know its easy to go around the system but nad people could alter the birthday to view the forum but its better then having a forum name: Adult forum (18+ only)

If its hidden from the 18- members and they don't know about that forum there is no need for them to change there birthday.

I don't need a flawless system just a "simple" 18+ condition to see the forum in the forumhome, jump, search etc.
