Is it possible to add html or vb codes effects in specified username?

logically it's not, as the usernames are used to login, so you can't add html tags in login names.

not really a security risk... you can add html in any entry you want in the forum... the filters will do their job... but html tags are not really useful in a username...
btw, maybe CHT is refering to the "styles" we can add to usernames around the board... this setting can be managed per usergroup, so when you edit/add a usergroup, you have the fields : Username HTML Markup , where you can add html tags for before/after the username, and decorate your usernames per group... some hacks here can enable this setting per user...
some hacks here can enable this setting per user...
that's exactly what I meant..
just to color the username or make it bold , italic.......
is there is a hack do this?

you can install the uShop so users will pay for these features...

Is there any way to do a one time hack to alter a users colour? Want to have certain users stand out by doing it manually. I could just give them the cash to do it in ushop but I would rather learn how to code it so I can do it in the future.
Any help? Kind of a newb to the whole vb world.
