View Full Version : vBug Tracker 1.0.3

Dark_Wizard
09-17-2004, 10:00 PM
You asked for it and here it is...a bug tracker that mimics the one at vBulletin.com.
There is no upgrade yet from the other bug trackers listed on this site but if enough people request it I will add it to the installer.

Also, please DO NOT request help, assistance or ask questions via IM as I will ignore you and if your persistent will block you. Your best option for immediate support is at vbwar.com but I will check in here from time to time.

Enjoy!

Please click install if you use this hack. Support is only given to those who click. Thx!

Version 1.0.1:
Fixed missing phrase (here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=554097&postcount=28))
Fixed redirect to blank page after edit bug
Fixed assigned to not working after bug edit

Version 1.0.2:
Finally fixed the dropped title and missing phrases.
Plus a few other small bugs you people didn't catch. ;)

New bug found...file updated. Users of version 1.0.2 need to perform these steps found here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=554556&postcount=46).

Version 1.0.3:
Fixed all tableprefixes and a small bug. Tested in both tableprefixed db and no tableprefix db...

Pro Version can be seen here (http://www.vbwar.com/forums/vbugs.php)!

Additional support can be found here (http://www.vbwar.com/forums/vbugs.php?s=&do=list&vbug_projectid=7).

Few notes on this hack. First off it's a great hack, few instructions were unclear.

1. To anyone installing this make sure you go through your usergroups and select which ones can moderate the bugs and which ones can add otherwise you'll get bugs (default is no)

2. It uses print_cp_no_permission(); instead of print_no_permission();

You can either change it manually or download the file i attached with it already changed.

Otherwise I love this hack and I was about to make something similar.

One thing though, when you edit a bug to update its status etc, it redirects to a blank page and when u check what it updated, it updated the bug status but didnt update the assigned to bit and it also deletes the bug title.

I just tested on Natch's site and see no problems in the front end or the backend...please provide me details as outlined above.

As outlined in the instructions at the end it states "You will also need to set the vBug Tracker Permissions in each usergroup that uses vBug Tracker", this error is indicating you have no admins setup for vBug Tracker. Please do this and the error will not occur again. I will add some error checking in the next version.

What will be new in vBug Tracker Pro?

The Pro version will contain the following features:

* Can handle Multiple Projects.
* Attachments
* Versions based on Projects, (i.e. I have several projects I am working on vBWar, vBug Tracker Pro and vBPool, each can have it's own versions.).
* Attachments can be moderated.
* Attachment uploads and downloads based on permissions.
* Bugs also based on a per project basis.

I think the values should be shown in a dropdown list with a button next to it so you can easily submit it ;)

This hack was meant to duplicate exactly as it is on vb.com as alot of people wanted it. The Pro version will have alot more features than this version.

I get this weird text above my vbug tracker

Array ( [2] => Array ( [severityname] => Minor [displayorder] => 2 ) [3] => Array ( [severityname] => Major [displayorder] => 3 ) [4] => Array ( [severityname] => Critical [displayorder] => 4 ) [5] => Array ( [severityname] => Severe/URGENT [displayorder] => 5 ) )

Also is there anyway by default when a user posts a ticket that it will automatically be assigned to a status like "Awaiting Feedback", ect. and then from there my staff can sort through it and close it or what not?

You need to go to the "vBulletin Options" and then to "vBugs" Options and set the default status there. As for your error, I cannot duplicate it so it may be that you have set your vBugs Options yet in the vBulletin Options.

Lastly, please click install for any further support. Thx.

I have this installed but am having a problem, the datastore is not updating the bugcache when I change the values of severity, version, etc. in the control panel, so the originally installed options are appearing on the screen. Any suggestions?

in edit template, the below line is unecessary and causing a javascript error as the description box is uneditable (it should though, just to fix the typos)

if(document.cpform.description.value == "")
{
alert("<phrase 1='$vbphrase[description]'>$vbphrase[vbugs_please_enter_x]</phrase>");
document.cpform.description.focus();
return false;
}

I just ran across a problem in the install script and it may be a problem throughout the whole program.

The program mistakenly assumes there is a "datastore" table. BAD assumption. There will always be a VBPREFIX_datastore table.

I ran the query

INSERT INTO datastore VALUES ('bugcache', 'a:4:{s:6:\"status\";a:12:{i:1;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:11:\"Unconfirmed\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"1\";}i:2;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:9:\"Confirmed\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"2\";}i:3;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:14:\"Closed (Fixed)\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"3\";}i:4;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:9:\"Duplicate\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"4\";}i:5;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:17:\"Awaiting Feedback\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"5\";}i:6;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:5:\"Bogus\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"6\";}i:7;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:20:\"Closed (No Response)\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"7\";}i:8;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:19:\"Working As Designed\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"8\";}i:9;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:17:\"Browser Bug/Issue\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"9\";}i:10;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:9:\"Won\'t Fix\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:2:\"10\";}i:11;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:12:\"Design Issue\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:2:\"11\";}i:12;a:2:{s:10:\"statusname\";s:11:\"Style Issue\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:2:\"12\";}}s:8:\"severity\";a:4:{i:1;a:2:{s:12:\"severityname\";s:7:\"Trivial\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"1\";}i:2;a:2:{s:12:\"severityname\";s:5:\"Minor\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"2\";}i:3;a:2:{s:12:\"severityname\";s:5:\"Major\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"3\";}i:4;a:2:{s:12:\"severityname\";s:8:\"Critical\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"4\";}}s:4:\"type\";a:12:{i:1;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:3:\"Bug\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"1\";}i:2;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:4:\"ToDo\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"2\";}i:11;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:15:\"Feature-Request\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"3\";}i:12;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:8:\"Admin CP\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"4\";}i:13;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:28:\"Integration (Calendar/Forum)\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"5\";}i:14;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:20:\"Installation/Upgrade\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"6\";}i:15;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:17:\"Language/Phrasing\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"7\";}i:16;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:9:\"Templates\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"8\";}i:17;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:9:\"Leader CP\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"9\";}i:18;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:15:\"General/Unknown\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:2:\"10\";}i:19;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:5:\"Email\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:2:\"11\";}i:20;a:2:{s:8:\"typename\";s:10:\"Suggestion\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:2:\"12\";}}s:7:\"version\";a:1:{i:1;a:2:{s:11:\"versionname\";s:4:\"Test\";s:12:\"displayorder\";s:1:\"1\";}}}')

The code appears to not handle tables with a prefix very well. The code really needs to be gone through well before another release.

Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. I like what I've seen on the author's site and this is a very fixable problem. Not only that, it should be all in the released code. It'll have no bearing on the code hacks.

I bet he could have this fixed today. If not, I'm sure I could. Its really nothing more than adding " . TABLE_PREFIX . " everyplace that a VB table is referenced without a prefix.

FASherman
10-28-2004, 01:53 PM
It wasn't even that hard!

FIND:
LEFT JOIN " . TABLE_PREFIX . "user ON (vbugs.userid = user.userid)

REPLACE WITH:
LEFT JOIN " . TABLE_PREFIX . "user AS user ON (vbugs.userid = user.userid)

(Occurs twice)

Thanks bro...I will give it another shot. GOD I hope this works as I really don't want to re-do my database again. There has got to be another way of restoring your database besides using phpMyAdmin. If the db is over a mb, then you have to break it down or it times out. arghhhh..

Wish me luck. :)

Again, thanks for helping with this as this is an awesome hack if I can get it to work.

One thing bro, now that I am in the AdminCP, there are a number of new, left hand column, options to choose from.

vBug Bugs
vBug Status
vBug Severities
vBug Versions
vBug Types

The only one that I am having a problem with is the first one, vBug Bugs. If you click on 'Add', it gives a database error that looks like this: (seems there is another table missing)

Database error in vBulletin 3.0.3:

Invalid SQL: SELECT typename, vbug_typeid FROM vb3_vbug_type ORDER BY displayorder

I hear you. I use Navicat 2004 instead. Far more powerful, much faster response, but it isn't free.

Still, with all I've spent on my website, it doesn't make sense to quibble over $85 for something that helps guarantee I can always fix my server quickly.

Yeah, the admin functions appear to be way screwed up. TABLE_PREFIX is used where it shouldn't be and forgotten where it should be. Its like peeling an onion, layer after layer breaks.

I've got it about half worked out.

I wouldn't recommend anyone who has their VB tables prefixed to install this just yet. This shouldn't be a release. Since the testing was incomplete, its still basically a beta.

Well, brother, we still arn't out of the woods yet. If you add a bug, either through the AdminCP or in the forums, everything seems to work fine until you click on it to read it. Then a HUGE big db error occurs:

This fixed it for me and I like the results.

This one is your typo, my friend. In one of those two replacements, you left off the ")" at the end of the line.

Search vbugs.php for
LEFT JOIN " . TABLE_PREFIX . "user AS user ON (vbugs.userid = user.userid

And add ")" to the end of the one that doesn't have it.

I am getting:

"Sorry, you don't have permission to access the administrative controls on this page.

If you need to access this page, ask your lead administrator to enable your permissions for this page using the Administrator Permissionssection of the control panel."

When I try to Admin things. And if I just go to vbugs.php I get:

"you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:"

I have obviously got something wrong. Any thoughts as to what?

I just installed vbug on my system. Looks nice, but I ran into a problem with the vbug_install.php.

I have a table prefix for all my tables. In vbug_install.php, there are several references to the datastore table without the table prefix. This causes the install to fail if there is a table prefix.

Let me know if you want a fixed version of it.

Also, I see that you don't use the table prefix for the vbug tables. I think you should, otherwise it would be very difficult to run more than one forum on a single system.

I am having a problem with user group preferences.

When I scroll down to the section in the user group manager for the bug tracker and change the preferences the system is not remembering these preferences. As a result my Registered Users have the power to administer bugs.

Any thoughts.

real nice hack. been looking for something like this for quite awhile.

i am xperiencing a couple of problems...

when viewing vbugs.php? in the browser, i enter a text search term in the "Enter a bug ID or terms to search for:" box and get an error. i know the exact search term exists in one of the bug posts.

this is the error:

i get the same error if i use the EXACT title of a bug...word for word. searching using the options below the bug list works fine except if i try to use the field to enter text to search by.

also...even tho i (and others) have ticked the subscribed box...email notifies dont function when someone replies.

what i think would be great to add to this would be a way to edit the content of individual posts in the tracker.

any ideas?

Same for me Wise One.

I did a little adminCP/index.php menu edit also.

1 dropdown menu vs. 5
- To me having 5 dropdowns vs. 1 is a waste of space.

I have set general permissions in usergroups for those who can / cannot post to bugtracker.

but I would have liked to have kept it private using forum password or just using custom usergroup settings on that forum pointing to vbugs.php

If i tell the forum to have password it is not applied. I can access the forum anytime even with password set.

I cannot define custom usergroup settings either per forum. So it is not possible for me to exclude groups.

Is this by design?

Small example 1. I have guests set in default usergroup premissions as being able to add bugs/see bugs.

For now i want to keep forum private for testing.

So I edit the guest usergroup in that forum and change the forum permissions to custom and leave only view forum=yes, but turn off all other options (see others threads, post et all)

I do not see any possiblity for custom settings for vbugs here.

Guests can still see, post, add bugs without a problem!

Small example 2. I have password set for forum to which points to vbugs.php.

For now i want to keep forum private for testing.

So I set password

Guests can still see, post, add bugs without a problem! No password required.

Possible I am missing something simple here?

When an admin chooses to make a bug 'private' when he is making a new bug, it doesn't make the bug private. You have to edit the bug after to make it private.

Here is the solution to fix it:

Find:
globalize($_POST, array('title' => STR, 'vbug_typeid' => INT, 'vbug_versionid' => INT, 'vbug_severityid' => INT, 'vbug_statusid' => INT, 'description' => STR, 'moderate' => INT, 'subscribe' => INT));

Replace with:
globalize($_POST, array('title' => STR, 'vbug_typeid' => INT, 'vbug_versionid' => INT, 'vbug_severityid' => INT, 'vbug_statusid' => INT, 'description' => STR, 'moderate' => INT, 'subscribe' => INT, 'private' => INT));

Find:
INSERT INTO vbugs (userid, adminid, title, description, vbug_statusid, postdate, vbug_severityid, vbug_typeid, vbug_versionid, moderate, lastedit, lastreplyuid)
VALUES ('$bbuserinfo[userid]', '$adminid', '" . addslashes($title). "', '" . addslashes($description) . "', '$vbug_statusid', '" . TIMENOW . "', '$vbug_severityid', '$vbug_typeid', '$vbug_versionid', '$moderate', " . TIMENOW . ", $bbuserinfo[userid])

Replace with:
INSERT INTO vbugs (userid, adminid, title, description, vbug_statusid, postdate, vbug_severityid, vbug_typeid, vbug_versionid, moderate, lastedit, lastreplyuid, private)
VALUES ('$bbuserinfo[userid]', '$adminid', '" . addslashes($title). "', '" . addslashes($description) . "', '$vbug_statusid', '" . TIMENOW . "', '$vbug_severityid', '$vbug_typeid', '$vbug_versionid', '$moderate', " . TIMENOW . ", $bbuserinfo[userid], '$private')

Basicly, you forgot to make the 'do=insert' add the private variable.

For thouse who don't realize, the file I'm talking about is: vbugs.php

When is this hack going to support prefixed tables?

ccunnin71
01-18-2005, 04:55 PM
Speaking of prefixed tables! The install hosed up... Yes, I do have the vb3_ prefixed table setup. How do I get around this? Better yet how do I uninstall this now? I see at the end of the 'vbug_install" is an uninstall option. What do I have to do to make this work?

Big bummer! I was really looking forward to using this mod. :tired: Should have spent more time on the older threads on this (of course I am reading them after the fact).

Thanks for any help in this situation.

FASHerman Thanks! One small note... Your code change nearly did it. It also brought on "Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING ...."

To correct goto top of you vbugs.php and add an additional line...

FIND
// #################### DEFINE IMPORTANT CONSTANTS #######################
define('NO_REGISTER_GLOBALS', 1);
define('THIS_SCRIPT', 'vbugs');

Add this right bellow
define('TABLE_PREFIX', 'vb3_'); //Your table prefix

That corrected things for me.

I am running it on 3.0.6 with prefixed tables. Works fine... I made the changes that FlashCode suggested with my one fix. It's a pretty limited system but workable.

I would go over your install again and see if you got one of the steps mixed up. Be sure you gave your admin rights as well.

vBug Tracker 1.02 works with vBulletin 3.0.6
=================================

I now have the system up and running.

It's quite slick. Though my concerns now lie in the support sector if I were to purchase this for our Intranet.

In order to have this work properly for your board, you MUST make some changes.

Fasherman's Add dB Prefixes: HERE (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=598409&postcount=147)

StormBlast's init.php fix:
HERE (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=592927&postcount=142)

And for a cleaner UI, I reccomend HarryButt's little nugget: HERE (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=575984&postcount=127)

Unfortunately, I cannot speak to how this will work on a dB without prefixes, though I assume it should flesh out OK.

Good Luck everyone!

This problem has returned for 3.0.7, I just ran a fresh install - on a fresh, unhacked board - and get this exact problem. Went back over the file edits with a fine toothed comb. Nope.

I don't use table prefixes but from what I read that shouldn't matter?

Commenting out line 125 in vbugs_admin.php fixes the problem, though I am sure that isn't the final fix. At least it works this way.

How does one do an uninstall? I see that the bottom of 'vbug.install.php' has code for an uninstall but I am not php savy. I am more of the cut&paste guy :) I want to reinstall this mod and start it from scratch. I was hoping to avoid a lot of manual table drops.

Ok... Days later. Support on this mod is sketchy. Will hold out for pro version.

For those who might want to know how-to uninstall the trigger to get the uninstall script to run. Execute the vbug_install.php file from your admincp (yes, you would have to ftp it back up) It will fail right away saying that tables already exist. Just change the step 1 = to uninstall.

I still had to manually pull the seven new tables it created. I like the app but it needs a lot more features. Lets hope the pro version gives us a more robust system.

I have found some errors in ACP with prefix tables.

In ./admincp/vbugs_admin.php, find:

$DB_site->query("
INSERT INTO vbugs

Replace by:

$DB_site->query("
INSERT INTO " . TABLE_PREFIX . "vbugs

Then, find:

$DB_site->query("UPDATE vbugs SET title = '" . addslashes($title) . "', description = '" . addslashes($description) . "', vbug_statusid = '$vbug_statusid', moderate = '$moderate', adminid = '$adminid', vbug_versionid = '$vbug_versionid', vbug_severityid = '$vbug_severityid', vbug_typeid = '$vbug_typeid', lastedit = '" . TIMENOW . "', lastreplyuid = '$bbuserinfo[userid]', private = '$private' WHERE vbugs_id = $vbugs_id");

Replace by:

$DB_site->query("UPDATE " . TABLE_PREFIX . "vbugs SET title = '" . addslashes($title) . "', description = '" . addslashes($description) . "', vbug_statusid = '$vbug_statusid', moderate = '$moderate', adminid = '$adminid', vbug_versionid = '$vbug_versionid', vbug_severityid = '$vbug_severityid', vbug_typeid = '$vbug_typeid', lastedit = '" . TIMENOW . "', lastreplyuid = '$bbuserinfo[userid]', private = '$private' WHERE vbugs_id = $vbugs_id");

Then, find:

$bugs = $DB_site->query("
SELECT *
FROM vbugs
LIMIT " . (($page - 1) * $perpage) . ", $perpage
");

Replace by:

$bugs = $DB_site->query("
SELECT *
FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "vbugs
LIMIT " . (($page - 1) * $perpage) . ", $perpage
");

Then, find:

$versions = $DB_site->query("
SELECT *
FROM vbug_version
ORDER BY displayorder
");

Replace by:

$versions = $DB_site->query("
SELECT *
FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "vbug_version
ORDER BY displayorder
");

Then, find:

$status = $DB_site->query_first("
SELECT *
FROM vbug_status
WHERE vbug_statusid = $vbug_statusid
");

Replace by:

$status = $DB_site->query_first("
SELECT *
FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "vbug_status
WHERE vbug_statusid = $vbug_statusid
");

Then find:

$severity = $DB_site->query_first("
SELECT *
FROM vbug_severity
WHERE vbug_severityid = $vbug_severityid
");

Replace by:

$severity = $DB_site->query_first("
SELECT *
FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "vbug_severity
WHERE vbug_severityid = $vbug_severityid
");

Then find:

$type = $DB_site->query_first("
SELECT *
FROM vbug_type
WHERE vbug_typeid = $vbug_typeid
");

Replace by:

$type = $DB_site->query_first("
SELECT *
FROM " . TABLE_PREFIX . "vbug_type
WHERE vbug_typeid = $vbug_typeid
");

And all works ;)

I got this error when i upgraded to VB 3.0.6. I had ver. 1.0.2 installed.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: fetch_state_array() in /includes/adminfunctions_options.php(96) : eval()'d code on line 1

I thought if i upgraded to ver 1.0.3 might go away Nope..

If i Uninstall this hack it goes away.

When you upgraded you forgot the file edits in admin_functions.php, please read the install.txt file for the vBug Tracker and make the changes.

I will look into this and yes the Pro is more robust and has alot more features, new coding and has a new installer/uninstaller. Lastly...support isn't sketchy and has been requested that for faster support please visit vBWar.com. ;)

Vbugs.php
Find:

// pre-cache templates used by all actions
$globaltemplates = array(
'VBUGS',
'userfield_select_option'
);
Replace:

// pre-cache templates used by all actions
$globaltemplates = array(
'VBUGS',
'vbugs_footer',
'userfield_select_option'
);

Thanks for the catch....

Can this be used for Feature Requests too? If not, please put that on your feature suggestions list :) I'd love to have a single interface for users to request a feature or submit a bug report...same for viewing...view either feature requests or bug reports. shouldn't be that hard actually if its not already done. Also, I'd really love to buy/try the pro version. Please PM me if you are accepting beta testers.

I am having an issue, on my site I have it set so the users can view and add bugs in the AdminCP, however when the go to the vbugs.php they dont see any of the bugs (none are private)

I on my administrator account see them all fine.

The usergroup permission are set correctly, I have gone into the database and vbugpermissions for the usergroup is set to 6.

if they go and enter a bug number they can view those fine.

Any ideas of how I can let me users see all the non private bugs?

Thanks

Can you clarify this as I am not understanding what you mean. Also I tried going to your site that you have in your profile but it is down as I wanted to at least try to understand what you were saying.

The site I am using this version of the hack is http://www.webcadets.com/forum/ I am one of the staff administrators.

Attached is an image of what I'm having a problem with, this drop down menu is not listing any of the options.

When I try to visit any of the vBug control panels I end up with a blank screen in the right hand frame. View-Source just shows <html><body></body></html>

Any ideas? I'm using vB 3.0.8

I am unable to use the installer to remove 1.0.3

It creates duplicate tables and I cannot see any uninstall option.

Although it creates the databse tables I get a database connect error, but the forums are running fine.

I uploaded all the files again, CHMOD and ran the installer.

I get taken to the admincp, log in, all OK, but then when i click for the next step with the installer I get a database error.

<!--
Database error in vBulletin 3.0.7:

Invalid SQL: INSERT INTO settinggroup (grouptitle, displayorder, volatile) VALUES ('vbugs', '1230', '0')
mysql error: Duplicate entry 'vbugs' for key 1

mysql error number: 1062

Referer: http://www.proteluser.com/admincp/vbug_install.php?step=intro

IP Address: xxxxxxxx -->

</body></html>

Any ideas would be appreciated. I am trying to do an uninstall.

Everything seems OK, if i click in the admincp adn ask it to check/optimse the database all is well.

John, you missed this last step....once logged into the AdminCP, you need to do this step before proceeding to the next install step:

Go to your admincp and set the vBug Settings under "vBulletin Options" then click save.
IF YOU DO NOT DO THIS YOU WILL GET ERRORS!

Hi

I did read that ;)

The mod was actually working. Before updating the forums (and because it was not being used) I decided to uninstall it.

But since the failed install/uninstall step, the settings at the bottom of my vBulletin pages now look like this.

Very strange

Hey everyone,

This product hasn't been updated since vb 3.0.6. If I have the time this weekend I will look it over.

john_rsd <- it is impossible to create duplicate tables and MySQL will give errors when trying to create a table that already exists.

Yes you are right of course. Forgive my moment of insanity.

It was running on 3.0.7, but I can neither run the installer past the init phase as it seems to be unable to connect to the database. So I never get as far as the option to uninstall.

If I had updated from 3.0.6 to 3.0.7 and reverted all templates could this produce the result I see in the AdminCP? Would it explain the installer failure?

It was running since 1.01/1.02 and then 1.03 but i think all I did last time was update to 3.0.7 and apply the edits again, did not even look again at the admincp as it was already set up.
