It's a work in progress but I wanted to get some feedback on the style(purchased style) and layout of the site.

Upon entering your site I have absolutely no idea what it is. You have a big google adsense banner at the top which says something about diabetes? I highly doubt it's about that. Nevertheless an introduction on your homepage and forums index for guests is always a good idea. Make a mission statement, say what the site is about, who it's for etc :)

Nice forum but you can try to make your own style

I know I can make my own style but this is one I purchased awhile back for my other site's forums. I figured I would give it a try and see what kind a reactions I would receive. Personally, I don't like the flash header, nor any kind of flash anywhere else on my site's. I have already begun working on a skin completely from scratch and hopefully will have it done by next weekend(I hope! :nervous: ).

Thanks for the comments and suggestions so far. :D

I like the style, but I'd never PAY for one. :)

I paid for this due to my lack of CSS and PHP when I purchased my first vB liscense. In that short period of time I have learned alot about both(I already had alot of html experience) and now i'm ready to do my first total custom style on that board :D. I hope to have it done in a relatively short amount of time but personal life takes top priority, you know ;). I earlier stated I would like to be done with it by next weekend but that doesn't look like the case due to hurricane Ivan and personal commitments already made.

Still working on the style but a few changes have been made, although they're not big ones! ;)

Look forward to seeing what style you will impliment into your forum. :)

I agree about the flash header, flash is so overused these days, it drives me insane to see it. ;)

Both the 'Home' and 'Forum' link on the main page in the header lead to the portal. It would be wise to make the 'Forum' link lead to your forum and not your portal. :)

I've made some changes but I still haven't got the colors just right. I still have to make a header but you'll get the idea.
