Well if you knew how many days from the start you could just put it in a field on the DB and then cron it every day to add a day to it. Or set a date when it was open and use date format to subtract the given date to today's date to give you a number.

If you want a less fancy option I just altered the phrase whats_going_on:

I just checked this out and I was amazed. I installed my board and I am User #1 My join date is listed as 06-03-2004 and my son's is listed as 11-12-2003 and he is User #2. How is this even remotely possible?

the normal is the first user are the admin, and the reg time is the creation of the forum
in your forum what date are correct?
your reg or the user 2 date?

11-12-2003 this date is closer to being correct. The only thing I can think of is that my date (06-03-2004) is the date I upgraded to 3.0.0 or 3.0.3. I went from 2.x.x to 3.0.0 then to 3.0.3. Would this purhaps cause the differential in my date?
