4images to use Vbulletin password encryption and user table

know there is a 4images-vbulletin integration script but I need to have these scripts on separate domains yet using the same database/usertable.

I want users to register using vbulletin and then be able to use the same userid:password at 4images. My idea is that changing the password encryption part in 4images to vbulletin's will do the work but I am not sure if its as simple as I am thinking.

I would greatly appreciate if someone with good knowledge of this can help me with the above setup.
