View Full Version : Display Reputation Given in UserCP

This modification is no longer available or supported.

This displays the last 10 posts that you gave reputation to, in the same style as the display of comments you have received. The display is can be collapsed in the same manner. A Screenshot of my test system is attached as well as the instructions.

Does this show on the profile when another user clicks to see a user's reputation or just for the individual user in UserCP only?

Paul M
12-20-2004, 07:21 AM
This is a display in your usercp only, only you can see it, no one else.

Good work Paul!

Question ... is there a way to control how many items to show in the admincp just like it is with reputation received?

So ... there's no-way to with your code, or there is ... but you rather have it controlled from the usercp.php?

Sorry, but it's not really possible to tell anything from an image.

What you see in the image, that's all it shows when you scroll to the right. Never shows the name or comments for the reputation and as you can see from the size of the bottom scroll bar it goes on for a while.

What information do you need?

Paul M

A link to your site, and a test login, would be helpful.

I'll PM you the info.Your problem is the other hack (Reputation Click Tracker).

This message is displayed ;

In the last 24 hours, you have given reputation to 0 posters.
You can give reputation to 99999999999999 more posters today.

It is then trying to draw a bar with a width of 99999999999999 and hence screwing up the whole display ! Take that hack out and it will work fine.

Good work Paul!

Question ... is there a way to control how many items to show in the admincp just like it is with reputation received?
I wanted this as well - so I changed:

LIMIT 0, 10

to

LIMIT 0, $vboptions[showuserrates]

in the new query that is added to usercp.php

Then you can change the # displayed for both with the same User Reputation option.

Great hack, much desired, thanks!

I just installed this hack, but many users are complaining about privacy....

Is it possible to Hide/Show the comments in the profile
using the usercp option to show/hide reputation on posts?.....

i already tried adding the code in the MEMBERINFO template
between the tags:
<if condition="$userinfo['reputationdisplay']"> ....... </if>
but it did not work...

any idea?...

xmorpher

they're complaining that now all the users can see
the comments that were not intended to be public...
(since they were privates)

they're complaining that now all the users can see
the comments that were not intended to be public...
(since they were privates)Sorry, but this hack gives no such ability.

All this allows is for any member to see what comments they have given.

xmorpher
06-06-2005, 04:39 PM
to see what comments they have given... o received?...

Anyhow,.... there's an option in the usercp that
let's you hide your reputation level....
Can't this be used to hide the comments you have received as well?....

Hey Paul can you add page links under the table so users can browse older reputations given also?

Paul M
06-12-2005, 03:53 PM
I have no plans to make any changes to this - except for one addition I made on our forums - which is to show your reputation power on the rep given display. This will get added to the 3.5.0 version when I release it.

I posted my question in the wrong forum originally, shows what a dolt I am

Step 2.

Add the following Custom Phrases (in User Tools (global) Phrases)

given_to = "Given To"
latest_reputation_given = "Latest Reputation Given"

Um, where is this? :)

Step 3.

Add the following new template;

Name = "usercp_reputationbits_gv"

Doh ;) I just learnt the diff between files and templates LOL!
