I run a The Mountain (http://www.boundary-mountain.net) board. I'm planning on partnering up with this fansite to make a compete news/forum resource type of thing. The webmaster of the site wants to have a newest posts type of thing on her site similar to what's on vbhome. I know this can be done as The OC online (http://www.theoconline.com) does this with Fanbolt forums (http://www.fanbolt) Does anyone have any idea how we could do this? I run version 2.3.5 btw. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Either use the RSS feed vbulletin generates, or connect directly to the database of the forum, and fetch the data from there. Search the forums.

Doesn't that only work for version 3? I use version 2. Besides, from what I've read in that thread, no one can seem to get it to work and the author isn't offering much help. But thanks anyway... anyone else have any ideas?
