Separating "Upcoming Events" from "What's Going On?"

Hello. I would like to know if it is possible to separate "Upcoming Events" from the "What's Going On?" Section in order to create a separate Events Section.

If anyone can direct me to some links on how to do it or tell me how to do it I would be grateful. I hope it is possible.

You edit the forumhome template and move the upcoming events part wherever you want. ;)
