User Identity Character? Im sure it would be a hit?

Ok my girlfriend was messing around with one of these doll creation sites and lately ive been thinking about adding the gender display in the posbit and I had an idea what if a user could create a charater which portrays themself or just a character they like that shows on the forums?

^^ check that, imagine each user could choose to create a person going off the same idea as this site uses. It could even be narrowed down to just a head selection, becuase the gender hack shows either a female or male, this could display a near enough appeareance representation.

I would be able to assist with graphics editing if somebody could / would be interested in producing this.

you mean like http://www.gaiaonline.com ? they use an avatar system where the possibilties for avatars are limitless but im not sure it would probably require alot of work and could be server intensive

So basicly a member picks there type of head, and then it displays in the postbit?
