The hack was originally made buy the guys from vortexportal, but it didn't got what it really needed so I extended it to the fullest, it had only one info text box and the 5 top info boxes on the right.
I added the complete bottom review section and side section, with option to buy directly from Amazon and or PriceGrabber and the graphics part is powered by Photopost.

Have a look and let me know what you think of it, if there are people out there that are intrested please let me know, but you have to wait till my vB3+ goes Live which is expected in the next couple of weeks.

Seems cool. It could probably be used for record reviews and things like that too.

Thanks Dean, I love to hear that from a VB team member :D

Yes I will release it but as you can see I need to do the upgrade of my live site first, because this script runs on my test site and I would like to make this live at my site first before I release it, which will be in the coming weeks (1-2 weeks), my live site still runs the latest vB2 version.

I had some real bad problems with the latest scripts I run on my test site, need to wait on an answer of vBportal and Photopost because of some issues I have with my database.
When this is solved, hopefully before this weekend I can start with my Live site's upgrade, when that is completed I will pack this hack.

Side note:

This hack has parts of Photopost, so you must have that in order to make this script work and when I'm going to release it I can't add that part of the code here on vb.org as for obvious reasons.

When I will release it I will post that part of Photopost on the Photopostdev site and will indicate where to insert that part of the code into my hack (part of the new file).

The hack contains 1 new database table, 1 file, 1 new template and 1 addition to a template.

FYI: the rules have recently changed to permit hacks which integrate with paid softwares...

Those are the rules here, but not that of Photopost, where I'm not talking about a part of a template, but we are talking about a part of a script (php) part ;) which is copyright "All Enthusiast, Inc."

Hey

Just wondering if there's any updates on this thing. I'm REALLY interested in this mod and surprised its not been done before :)

Looks good almost too good :) As it is I've got a forum dedicated to movie/music reviews so this would probably be a good solution. If it allows users to submit reviews it would be great. Even like a moderation queue sort of thing so they get access to the submit a review and can insert everything. Then it just has to be approved with a click from an admin or mod.
It looks really clean.

Is there any way to treat the images as an attachement like the forums does? This would prevent the use of Phptopost, Sort of like v3Articles does when you attach screen shots... I like this layout a lot, but do not have nor wish to have Photopost. I am really interested in your Script.

I really have to have this for my site, if there is any way at all possible...

I already use Photoshop too, so that would be no worries.

My site covers films, music, games and the likes and i've spent months and months searching high and low for the perfect product and have tried loads of different ones, each one coming up short of what I actually want. this one really does look perfect for me though...

If there is anyway at all I can get hold if it and soon, I would be eternally grateful.
