inline thumbnails

Hello...

I've seen a few threads about inline thumbnails for 2.x, such as

but they don't seem to work for 3.0.3. Is there any hack or bb code that will allow for inline thumbnails?

Since I cannot have comments with thumbnails, this would be my only option.

Any suggestions?
