No offense, but the color scheme hurts my eyes with all the bright orange and red.

You should build a header that can be usable in all resolutions - viewing at a smaller resolution a user will have to scroll horizontally and your header breaks up.

The color will definately keep some people away. It's uncomfortable (at least for me).

Looks much more cleaner, all I'd suggest really is having a good play around with some template modifications, change your time color to a light orange :) And get a new button set.
