Ok, I have no experiance what so ever with this stuff, I hope to learn as I go. vBulletin.com told me to come here to ask for help.
What I need to know is how to get it, install it, and how big of a challenge is it.
The Quick Reply box at the bottom.

Do you offer support for free? I sure hope so :nervous:
Considering your starting a new forum is there any reason you chose 2.3.5 over 3.0.3?

I just liked the layout better, I use 2.3.5 on pbnation.com and 3.0.? on automags.org, and I just think 2.3.5 is easier to navigate.

May i ask why you feel this way?
vBulletin 3 is insanely more powerfull and featurerich when compared to vB2.

3.0.?'s user CP is to confusing, dis-organized. I still havent been able to find "reply to PM" button.
But I already bought, paid for, and set up 2.3.5 :)

Upgrading is just a few moments away ;)
Really? most people thought the new layout of the UserCP was much more orgazied.
Its right next to the forward button ;D

So, how long does it take to upgrade, will it auto-transfer all my old data/color scheme/and stuff?
How hard is it, I actually got one of the nice people from my hosting site, to do the install for me, for free :)
I dont got time to do it tonight :) if your still up!

Depending on your upload speed, not too long once the files are upgraded. i did a 50k post site in about 20~ min (hueg attachment table)
the only other thing that takes some time is the rebuilding of the search index :)
the basic style (colors only) will come accross to vB3, but no templates.

Dunno what you ment by the search index, but could you please get me a link to the 3.0.? upgrade :))
Also, is there any hack to make a gallery built into its own forum section.(I guess thats going towards a 3.0.? question :))

I seriously am going in circles, I cant decide what to do. I want a gallery, and maybe a review thing like here : http://pbreview.com/products/reviews/1438/ is that a vB hack?
Maybe even an auction like thing. Which version would it be easiest to do all of this with?

You have to install the hack man. Then put it in the templates.
