Home Page redesign

Hi,

I am trying to redesign the home page I want it to look like the admincp page

only with the USER and password feilds. Once the user logs in I want him to be navigated to my main forum. I am new to PHP some one please help

well what u can do is setup permissions if guests can view the forums or not.
