Hi

I have never needed a moderator before since my board was too small and I could easily manage things. Now I need a moderator but I have heard some horror stories like..disgruntled moderator deleting all the posts etc. SO I am wondering,

is there any HAck out there that allows the moderator to delete posts and threads but the threads/posts do not really get deleted but put in a que for the Admin to approve this action?

I guess what I am asking for is....moderating the moderators action, what ever it is, any action the moderator takes, it gets in the que and the only Admin or super Admin can approve or dissaprove?

Anyone done anything like this.. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Just dont give your moderators the ability to hard delete anything.

Otherwise no, general rules of thumb for moderators.

Only get moderators when you need them, only hire moderators who you trust, do not give them any more permissions than what they need to do their job.

How do you do that? So if they are only allowed to Soft delete, can the admin see the posts or threads that are sofdeleted?
