images form hard drive not url

Hi
I have a photography forum where I would like people to upload images from their local drives rather than link from internet so it show as is.
Attaching images is not good for me as it will be thumbnailed and at the end of the post while I want images and comments to be viewed on the same post.

I am sure there is a hack to do so but cant find it, and beleve me I tried :(

Any help would be much appreciated

A commercial solution employed in some areas of our forum is photopost. Works very well.

I agree, and its a great script installed on our site, but if a cretique is done by some other member and uploaded on photopost, it will bear the name of the uploader not the photographer.
While in forums we have a section for that so it will be in one thread and it will not have similar photos cluttering photopost

you can take the script that answer your needs most, in features and functions, and after that, ask for a coder to make the changes to have everything else done...

if one of your feature is to keep the name of the author, this can be done afterward... scripts are usually easy to deal with.
