I have an idea about quick search interface.
Anyone who make this hack like below attachment image.
And making hack for searching partial words without wildcard.
I really need for searching partial words without wildcard.
I think so...
It's very useful and very quick searching.
Please make this hack...please^^....

We also added a few options (not like these) to the 'navbar' template's 'navbar_search_menu' menu.
The attached image shows a group of checkboxes, but they really should be something like two separate dropdown menus or two groups og two radio buttons, since the options are mutually exclusive.
One has to choose either 'Find Posts by user' or 'Find Threads started by user'. This corresponds to the search.php parameter named 'starteronly' (e.g., do=process&starteronly=1).
Similarly, one has to choose either 'Search Titles Only' or 'Search Entire Posts'. This corresponds to the search.php parameter named 'titleonly' (e.g., do=process&titleonly=1).

hum.. cool request... i'd like to add:
instead of having a global search box on top AND a search box in the forumdisplay block, why not merge them to have only the top one ?!... so when clicking on the search block, we have a choice for "Search this forum" AND "Global Search"... this would minimalise the template, and everything is found anyway...
