There was a vB2 thread about this. Not sure if anyone else has had to deal with this yet. I am wondering if anyone has X-cart and has worked with it.

I just need to make sure if they sign up for the X-Cart it works with the forums as well.

Thanks

I just talked to x-Cart...they said they would do it for a charge...so...I am looking at this being something that if we chip in we can both get :)

In that case, it might be worth it for some of us to all pitch in, and just have you come up with integration instructions! :-)

Whhhat? That's a fortune. The X Cart script is expensive enough as it is.

But, I believe if you all pitch in to get it.. it would be against their TOS. Basically distrobuting their work that they obviously want to get paid for.. Just giving you a heads up that it probably won't be a good idea.

why wont it ? its will only be intergrated files to mod it in

btw do u want it the front end to vB or back end?
& what feature do u want with it ?

Not saying they will, but they could charge 300 per xcart.
It's basically like a bunch of people saying "Let's get together and pitch in for vBulletin so we can all run it from our site." Where as vBulletin only allows one site per license.

Well I have tried contacting Luquis Ice...just kinda hard to get a hold of sometimes.

I like what it can do, but it doesn't seem too user friendly...

I'd like to create accounts for different companies so they could resale their own products, however those people aren't computer savy... Is there something simpler to use with better GUI for Admin and Front of the house?

I think Ice might be stuck with the MD5 Encryption

I dont find any X-CART or other shopping carts should ever be integrated with forums..
just as a security precaution :)
