I've got a many users using SmileyCentral smilies. But each smiley they place leave a link back to smilieycentral with affiliatelink (if you click the smiley).

Is there a way to block this link? :ermm:

I've tried the replacementsystem using "smilieycentral" but that viped out the smiliey aswell...

Give me an example of that whole part of code, with the linkback and the smilie in it.

Here you go:

http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_1_104v.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001)

The post - the shoppingcart smiley:

you have to make a Replacement in your admincp regarding the urls so the replacement will be done in posts...

You could probably make a replacement with: http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=
replacing it with #
or replace <a href="http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001" target="_blank">
with nothing, but that only works, if the partnercode (the ZSzeb001) is the same on all the pics.

Thanks Colin! :) Works like a charm!

Replace:
http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=

with:
#

That rule will just reload the page if clicked. Perhaps a link to the archives will be a good solution ;) archives/index.php#

I have seen several "partners" so a general rule is best... :)

Sorry to bring up an old topic, but I have the same problem with SimeleyCentral. They are even more aggressive now, automatically adding banners to user's posts.

Where do you put this replacement? Is it within the template replacements? I thought that only affected template code.

Thanks
