Thumbnails & 3.03

There seem to be problems with hacks that include thumbnails with the release of vB3.03 ... could anyone give any clue as to why this might be? The more specific, the better, of course. Thanks.

i think vb.com did mention something about attachment thumbnails but im not sure if it does affect other thumbnails i would go over and read the announcements over at vb.com about the releases cause one of them mentioned attachment thumbnails so that might be causing this.

They altered how they work and are stored (before if you chose to store images as files, thumbs were still in the DB), so you have to regenerate your thumbnails, but also hacks that use the thumnail functions will need to be updated to reflect the function changes.

I know nothing about coding, but it seems so many great hacks for vB3 (such as the article & garage hack) are now royally foobarred when it comes to 3.03.

The authors of these hacks appear to have "left the building" and those wishing to use their hacks on the current vB version are SOL.

Who knew "Hack of the Month" could be so appropro?

for articles hack, head over to Johns site - http://www.v3arcade.com - and see if you can find anything there.. I don't know much about the garage hack..

Actually, I did go to John's site and searched before I posted regarding the articles hack. Nothing there that updates for 3.03 unfortunately ... or at least nothing that I could find. If I missed it, please let us know.

The people in the "support" thread here at vB.org are begging for some help.
