Remember when you select post poll it sends the thread and redirects you to the poll options. You must have caught me right in the middle :p

i hate to have a lot of windows opening just because i click a link to download files... we already have the download manager that popup to let us know we're downloading something, why a blank page that say nothing at all, it's harrassing...

I say yes. The old way was like that, I think. Sometimes when I'm viewing an attachment image I close the window thinking it popped open in a new window, then I have to come all the way back. Yeah, I know, stupid on my part but I do things quick.

nah, clicking to close a window or click to go back one shot is mostly the same.. just use your eyes friends.. lol

erm..what about making it user selectable ? Or admin-selectable for the entire forum?

it already is admin selectable, as we can change it in the template ^^

i'm all with nexialsys here, it doesn't take longer to click the back button, instead of the x, and those who want to open it in a new window may use the middle button (if using FireFox) or rightbutton and new window if wanted.

I am voting for installing this hack. Seems to be fair for everybody :)
