I'm looking for a "for sale hack"
Where a user lists and item for sale, then if someone is interested in buying the listed item the deal is done by PM, but all PM's get copied to either a mod or admin just for proof that they have agreed with each other.
Obviously the more features the better, is there one already or somthing external that will intergrate with vB

You could just let people post offers in a forum. Then use phpMyAdmin to view private messages. So if someone says "I never agreed to that", you can just look at thier PMs through mysql.

There is even a "PM viewer" here on the site. Search the forum for "admin pms read" or something similar.

Thanks for the reply, but I would rather have some kind of on-line shop where they could see a pic of the item for sale, also I do not think that I should be reading my users PM's after all they are supposed to be private messages

Photopost Classifieds is pretty interesting. It uses the forum users database but it is otherwise not really integrated with vB. It doesn't provide for any system of charging folks to place ads, though.
