VB3 Chatbox Request

Hi Everyone

I spent some minutes trying to install the 1.2.4 version of posidon's chatbox, just to reailze that it is for VB2.x. Oops, thankfully I didnt ruin any of my files or my database.

I want to install something similar to the chatbox found here: http://www.christian-forums.com/

It is very clean, with just a "popup" and "chat" button. Is this a hack I can get, or is it a modfication?

Any ideas?

You have to register to use it so we have no idea what it looks like.

All considering its very possible its custom coded

You might be right, I remember he mentioned in another post he had so many custom hacks he couldnt even count them all.

I know some php but Im not really interested in become a heavy vbulletin hacker. Are there good clean and simple shout/chatboxes that are similar to the one above that might fit the bill?

I know me and matt (link / squall ) are working on updating his shoutbox, :) there will be a second for it on geekydesigns soon :)

Ah, so there will be a simple chatbox for VB3 that I can install if I just wait some time? How is it different from the ones that are available now, and how long do you think it would take?

Also, I checked out the site but didnt see the shoutbox as a pending project. Will it be posted there? Or is there a thread already that covers it?

No, i havent setup that area of the forums or put it on the projects page (new part of the site im working on :))
