Recommendation on upgrading

I would like to take my current setup 2.3.2, and upgrade it to the current. Thats easy enough.

I'd like to leave that on my test system and leave my v2 active until the v3 was fully modified to my liking.

My question is, whats the easiest way to reimport the new users/posts when the v3 board is ready?

There isnt any way, :) your best downloading the style if you make one and just upgrading the live board.
