I am working on a new site, and since I dont have much funds I cant afford another vB license, and I dont use illegal scripts :P
So, anyone have any experience with ipb? I need help on how to add some basic stats on a non-ipb page. Stats like total posts, threads, who's online, last XX posts...
I know you can do it with ssi.php, but I need something simpler, without loading extra templates from folders...
Anyone can help me? Thanks!

Support must be bad at Invision if IPB users are coming here to ask for help.

I believe ibplanet.com has things you want. there're a lot of mods there, even skins and graphics, etc.
mods.ibplanet.com
skins.ibplanet.com
or go to forums.ibplanet.com to ask for this kind of help ^^
I was using ip for a pretty long time.

Not to be rude or offensive anything, but it is. Basically, you just get members helping members, and very little staff representation on help topics. Sometimes a staff member's post is the best solution to the problem.
I don't deal much with IPB before, but I do take the time to test out free forum software. :)

yeh but with a free trial what u expect
you pay for premium support and thats how its always been
i think its ok for people to ask whatever even if its on rival forums
besides i think quite few of us are probably running sites on IPB or other forum software alongside Vbulletin because we can't afford another vb licence

ibplanet is now invisionize deathemperor.
And IPB has no free support so no use going into a discussion about that. But some of the members at invisionize aka ibplanet are more skilled then the actual developers.
But in my opinion you dont come to a vbulletin mod forum and ask for help about a rival software.
