View Full Version : Request for a 3.0.1 shoutbox

I've tried four different shoutboxes now, all failed. One crashed in IE and Opera. One changed forum permissions and admin settings, one made weird things happen with posts when refresh was used.. etc etc.

So I have a request for a shoutbox that actually work for 3.0.1, that looks good and doesn't mess up anything.

That shouldn't be too much to wish for? ;)

Squall's shoutbox 1.3d works just fine in Vb3.0.1. I've used it since he released it for the vb3 series and never had a bit of trouble.

Nevermind.. I've already tried and removed that shoutbox as it is corrupt

works fine for me too, the only thing that doesn't work is the WYSIWYG editor

How was it corrupt?

Have you tried setting up a private test forum and installing it to see if it duplicated the problems you had when it was put on your live boards?

I've had corruption problems before after I have installed hacks...one time was database corruption, I'm not sure how that occured...all the other times it was from miss-installing a hack.
