Quick Reply Thread Management: Open/Close & Stick/Unstick in Quick Reply Box

This was a must have at our forums and I didn?t see a hack for vB3 yet, so, here it is.

What does this hack do?
Two new checkboxes will be available in the quick reply box for those that have permission. One checkbox to Open / Close the thread, and one checkbox to Stick / Unstick the thread. You simply check off what you?d like to do and submit a post at the same time. Very convenient if you need to close threads quickly, but also want to leave a reason why.

Changed tab index on both checkboxes. This is not a required update.

Difficulty
Easy: Edit one php file, Add one template, modify one template.

Right, these options are there in a "normal reply", when you click the reply button or click a quote button in someone's post. However, these options in the "quick reply box" are not a standard vB feature.

Great hack. This may be a stupid question, but is there a way to make it so when I hit tab from the quick reply box, it still goes to "Post Quick Reply" first? I'm so used to hitting tab then space to post a quick reply and now I have to hit tab three times :)

sblum: The hack has been updated and new text file attached. If you'd like to fix your tab issue just replace your "showthread_quickreply_manage" template with the template in the new text file.

im having a problem, I installed the hack and it went well but the functions aren't working. I checked "close thread" and typed a reply but the thread didn't close :confused:
