I have actually taken a look at this and tried out the 'lite' version. It seems to be quite promising and can redirect a news post into a specific forum which is what I would need. Also with a plugin it can grab the latest forum posts, however how well it integrates with vbulletin can only be demonstrated with the full version. The 'lite' version doesnt allow integration.
I think for $80 ($35 for lifetime license and $45 for year of download and updates) it cant harm just to purchase it and see how well it runs. Ive also been looking at VbPortal, VbIndex and VbAdvanced CMPS. All seem good products, so I guess as I have tried the full versions of VbIndex and VbAdvanced I owe it to buy the other two and test them properly too.
Il be looking to see how well they can integrate with Vbulletin 3.0.3 and a image/media gallery (Coppermine, PhotoPost or Albinator).
Il post a evaluation here soon.

Wow, that looks very interesting. I'll soon be starting a network of sites, and this could make my job a lot easier. (Currently coding my own CMS for it)

I have been using subdreamer for several months now and really like it! SubDuck does very good support and has contiuned to update/upgrade the system at a steady rate. Love the plugin system and skin integration with the forum!

Just a question. Is subdreamer a blog 'community' script like blogger.net, livejournal or friendster's recent blog community addition?
