PM HACK 1.1.5??

Anyone get the PM Hack working in 1.1.5? I have been looking all over for this and have not found it or figured it out yet. Thanks!!

Instructions are included... for 1.1.4 - anyone got any idea on how to add the hack to 1.1.5 ? I recall Ed saying new instructions were forthcoming ?

I followed the instructions to a T in 1.1.5 last night and installed it within 30 minutes.

The instructions should really be like "add this to the end" kind of stuff, instead of replace.

If you have this line in 1.1.4:

$var = "'".addslashes($blah)."','".addslashes($blah2)."',$blah3";

And this in 1.1.5:

$var = addslashes($blah).",".addslashes($blah2).",".addslashes($blah3);

The only real difference is that you have an additional addslashes (and you moved a " around).

So, if I say replace the 1.1.4 line with this:

$var = "'".addslashes($blah)."','".addslashes($blah2)."',$blah3,$blah4,$blah5";

In 1.1.5, it'd be like this:

$var = addslashes($blah).",".addslashes($blah2).",".addslashes($blah3).",$blah4,$blah5" ;

Just some things you should know:
* The period puts strings together -> "a"."b" is basically "ab"
* Separate different fields in a MySQL table by commas.
INSERT syntax:
INSERT INTO table (field,list) VALUES (value,list)

UPDATE SYNTAX:
UPDATE table SET field=value, field2=value2 [WHERE clause optional]

On that vBulletin.org site, I saw a PM hack, but it was for 1.1.4, whereas I have 1.1.5. Will it still work, or do I need to change the code to Ed's post above?

hacked! no longer exists as I overloadded it with too many hacks.

is there any difference between the pm hack 1.2.5 and tiny pm??

tiny PM is just tiny and is used by code like vbcode.

but function-wise, which would be better??
