Instant CC Post to members of Group X

I need to instantly forward a copy of any post made to ANY private forum of which users of Group X have access to. I have two options:

1. Auto Subscribe EACH thread to EACH member of Group X

2. If post was made to a private forum accessable by members of Group X, email a copy of the message to all members of that Group.

I have a mailing list of the same users that we use. But I want use the vB Forum to behave more like this mailing list for certain forums. A simple option I suppose could be added to each forum to list the User Group numbers to be emailed instantly.

As I'm writing this, it occurs to me that I might be able to use an Admin feature I think I recall seeing to do this. I will check there as well.

I am replying to my previous post cause I found a possible solution in the Forum Admin area.

Email Addresses to Notify When there is a New Post
(Separate each address with a SPACE)

Email Addresses to Notify When there is a New Thread
(Separate each address with a SPACE)

Using this, I plan to enter the email address of my mailing list.

It WOULD be nice for a hack to allow entering GROUP numbers as well. THAT way, ALL members of a Group would instantly receive a copy IF they are NOT already SUBSCRIBED to receive a copy.
