force logon in order to access the forum

Is there any hack that make a logon startup page for all user to force logon before accessing any forum ? I know ubb has this hack already.

If a user is not register he/she must first register.
If a user is registered, he/she must enter his/her userid and password to get access the forum

Why force a registered user to reinput his data? You can already deny unregistered users.

Control Panel -> User Groups and Permissions -> Modify -> Guests and Unregistered -> View Board = No.

If you set View Board = No for Registered Users, what is the point of having a board in the first place?
