Well I need some help.
I have 3.0.0 installed, with a few hacks. I have vBadvanced, vB Arcade, and uShop & uCash installed, all working perfectly. If I upgrade, will I lose these hacks?
Also, how do I go about upgrading? What files do I upload and which files don't I?
One more thing; is it worth it to upgrade to 3.0.1? Is there any real reason to?

When you upgrade, sadly you lose all your file modifications (I.E Hacks) so you have to re install them.
To upgrade you re-upload all the files in the ZIP and run admincp/install/upgrade.php
Check http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=101628 for a list of features/updates 3.0.1 has over 3.0.0

So what happens to the mySQL queries run by hack installers? Do I gotta do those over again as well?

No, fortunately upgrading doesn't alter the database.

So, I only have to redo the file modifications and add the templates? That's all I have to do, right?

In most cases you will not need to re-edit/add the template in a hack.

Well that sucks. How long would you say the upgrade should take? Any tips? I was reading another thread. Is it ok to use a file comparer and make the changes manually? If yes and I change all the files as needed than I run the upgrade.php after I'm done modifying all the files?

just use beyond compare 2 and compare files of 3.0.0 version on your server and the new 3.0.1 version.
Simple and easy.
