I haven't been able to find a hack for this. Can someone help, please?
Some of my members are constantly leaving entire posts quoted within their messages unnecessarily making the thread difficult to read. I mean they are fully quoting the previous post sometimes. On a small board I may have time to educate a small minority but as the board gets larger it will become more difficult. Therefore, I want to replace the https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/images/darkblue/buttons/quote.gif button with a standard reply button. I'd like the button to call up the default editor without the post being replied to appearing inside the editor text area between quote tags. I want the editor to appear with a blank message area.
My members will then have to copy selected quotes into the editor and wrap them in quote tags. Here is another thread about the same problem:
Turning Off Reply Quotes (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=83444)
I'm using vB 3.0.1
