I'm trying to change the color of the hyperlinks in the category strips ONLY.

Does anyone know how I may accomplish this?

Try modifying the Category Strip Link attributes if were talking about vB3. also you should ask questions about your style at vBulletinTEmplates.com NOT vBulletin.org :)
