Allow php as [img] type?

As part of my article system I upload most of my images using the attachments system. As such, all of the images have file names like "attachment.php?attachmentid=15&stc=1"

When I use the WYSIWYG editor in creating a new thread, it accepts the php image file, but when submitted, it shows as a link.

Any ideas why this is? I have HTML/BBCODE enabled.

Did you turn on dynamic images in the control panel? I believe it's off by default.
