Is it me .. am I going mad? .. because for the life of me I can't find a direct link to the forums from the main/front page of vb.org ..
Yep .. lovely portal page .. great listings of latest/best/hottest hacks and I can even make all the forums read .. it would be nice to be able to get to the forums before I do that though ... ;)
Just thought I'd point it out .. it's very frustrating .. :)

Your mad, click on the header image in any style it will take you to the forumhome
Click on the Forum Tab in Dark Blue
Click on the Header Image in Purple
click on the link "forums" in either green
Again click on the header image in Grey

On Stylish Green and Dark Blue; Home = portal.php & Forums = forums/index.php
The title banner in Purple goes to forums/index.php

On the vB3 Grey style, there is no "Home" or "Portal" button/link on the navbar - In the bottom navigation bar, there is only a link to the vBulletin.org site...

It's a serious lesson in usability that needs to be learned. ;)

Thanks

That's because it's not a portal. It's a custom coded page, much like 90% of vb.org is custom coded

Do you mind sharing the source?

Sure, just keep watching vbulletin.org for the next 24 hours. Someone will ask the same question ;). But in all seriousness, I can't remember where I saw it, but it's in one of the millions of threads on here or it may have been deleted.
You COULD try this if you want a portal for your site www.vbadvanced.com (http://www.vbadvanced.com)

Sorry, the portal code is not going to be released. Check out the link posted above.
