Hey guys, I'm about ready to pick up a copy of vBulletin... but I'm also looking for a good integration package. Not necessarily a CMS though. And believe me, I've read all the threads about CMS's here... I've used tons of them.

I'm really looking for more of a blogging integration. Take a look at http://www.mythicahq.com. Notice that they are using vB, and the news posts and comments are all tied back into vB. Any idea what they are using?

Thanks all!
-Sean

You can do that with vB. The news section on their index page is nicely done. However, with a little bit of template work you can do the same with vbIndex or vbAdvanced (both vB Portals).
Why would you need so much a dedicated CMS.
And as far as I know, Jelsoft is working on a CMS for vBulletin.

Thanks Tradjick... I bought my copy of vBulletin today... I'm going to start playing around and seeing what I can come up with. I might even attempt an integration with a blog package... not sure. :)

sean, now that you have your license, you should update your license info so you will have access to the hacks here.

seanw,

You are currently showing up as unlicensed. To be able to download hacks and/or receive support here at vBulletin.org, we ask you to please click here (http://www.vbulletin.com/members/membersupport_priority.php) (vB-germany users click here (http://www.vbulletin-germany.com/members/forums.php)) and enter your email address, to show us that you are licensed.

You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive.

Thank you.

Ok, looks like I'm all set now... just an FYI, I have 2 accounts here (not sure how that happened). The sean088 account can be removed if you like.
