What about having a build in mp3 player (maybe flash) that can play a playlist where the audios are stored on the server.

This should be possible.

Anyone up for it?

You could put it in a top frame (uahhhhh *oergs*) but it is possible or open a separate small player window (e.g. java) and let the player stay there.

The window could be opened from the forum navigation as link so it would be the choice of the user to have the player or not

edit: I just saw that you wrote a jukebox hack! Realy nice but couldn?t there be a add on or modification to let the player run a playlist of the songs in a small separate window? Would be sooooo awesom!

I run a radio station off my site viperalley.com - we use www.spacialaudio.com 's SAM2 product as the feeder and sc_serv from shoutcast on our server as the server. It works really well; however, you still need to click on a link to launch the WinAmp (or whatever the user uses to listen).

The serious solution to add to transmitters fm

The jukebox is a fine hack and if it gets the feature of playing a playlist by opening a separate window where the player is in then it will be perfect!
(ok you should link to the admin function in the AdminCP menu then it is realy perfect ;))
