Has anyone an idea?
I have one forum that will contain issues of an E-Newsletter, that I wish to make accessible ONLY to paid/supporting members.
But I want non-supporting members (i.e., "Registered Users") to be able to *see* that there's stuff there -- stuff that they don't yet have access to.
I want them to see the forum, and see that there are POSTS in the forum -- but not be able to OPEN or VIEW those posts.
If I set "Can View Forum = NO", then the forum disappears altogether, and they don't realize that they're missing out on anything.
If I set permissions on this forum to "Can View Forum = YES", but "Can View Others' Threads = NO", then the forum appears empty -- as though nothing were ever posted there. Not a strong selling point.
Is there a way of achieving what I'm after?
