I've seen multiple requests about this, and I've posted requests about this myself a couple of times. There is one hack out there that does this, and that's DataForce's hack (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?p=480219#post480219). Too bad he won't give any support, or test it. That's why I'm not going to try it out either.

Now, what's the deal with remote avatars, it should be an option in vB3! I don't understand how some of the large boards out there can pay for the bandwidth taken by the avatars. I might be wrong here, but I guess that the avatars use a lot of bandwidth when you have a lot of visitors...

So, what does it take to make someone create an excellent and well tested remote avatar hack here? Money?

I also would love to see a working Remote Avatar hack. My database just doesnt like user uploads and I am getting sick of setting avatars myself.

Modetwo.. are you the same one from ASO?

But I have remote avatars installed on my forum... I'll go ahead and make a new post about it.
