Hello, I run a forum using phpBB2.0.6 and I am considering moving to VB 3 (I already have an owned license but no access to the Members' Area as my subscription expired, this is not a problem to renew it).

I would like to have a setup something like http://www.horror.com. A friend told me that I would need the VBulletin Advanced Script (Free?) to implement a News Portal and a Forum using VB.

My main concern is what content would I lose by converting from phpBB to VB3. Personally I do not feel like losing any content and I would like to know what I would and what can be lost.

Also how do I convert the content?

Can anyone help?

Best Regards,
Edric.

Any custom hacks that you have made. Posts Threads and most userinfo should be kept, PM's might be as well, but im not sure.

If you need to import use the members area and ask about conversion.

PMs do get lost.

When i transferred, i lost no posts, no users, nothing - only PMs.......

Bit of a pain, but the rest is painless ;)
