hey just wondering if anyone could make a hack that would allow the smilies to show in different pages
for example in the same way the avatar catergories work on vb3
a drop down for each catergory
because i have a lot of smilies on my forum and each time someone clicks more smilies they have to wait till all of them load b4 they get to choose
so splitting them up into different pages would be great
and reduce loading times etc

its not standard in vb3
it does catergories yes
but it does not do seperate page for each catergory they all appear on one page for example like the avatar gallery when u choose avatars from user cp

but when you change avatars in the UCP you click the drop down an another category appears, for smilies that seems a tad OTT.

i personally don't think its Over the top because i have a large variety of smilies
and if i want to add more i can't really because i have to think about how fast this will or will not load for the user
and wading though a million smilies to find one is a bit much sometimes
so catergories would work in that way a lot better at least from my point of view

oh na you didn't offend me i thought i'd put my point accross since if you think its OTT then someone else might aswell :D
