Ok so I had to re-install windows XP pro but before I did this I was an idiot and forgot to decrypt my mp3 collection folder and now I cant play them because they're encrypted
Does anyone know what I can do about this? I have tried Advanced EFS Data Recovery program but it didnt do any good
Mabey you could start off by telling us what you used to encrypt these files?

Uhm I didnt use any program just the regular win xp NTFS encryption system. I just right clicked on the "my music" folder. Selected properties -> advanced and then checked "encrypt contents to secure data" and now I cant uncheck the box it gives me permission denied.
