disallow super moderators from banning members.

yeah, there's this power hungry supermod and he bans people that make fun of his girlfriend. but he's loyal and gets a ton of people to join.

there any way?

Yikes, that sucks. I know that at a board I'm a super mod on we could only ban people who were registered members until our admin changed it to allow us to ban usergroups. When she did that we couldn't ban registered members. I'm not sure if it's a hack or what.

Maybe you could go into index.php and at the bottom remove this:

makenavoption("Ban","user.php?action=find","|");

That would take it out as an option I'm pretty sure. I'd mark where you have it just to be safe though. I don't know if it'll work, but it's worth a shot. I know in vB 3.0.0 you can set whether the person is allowed to ban or not which would be nice so your other super mods could ban. Maybe if you just took away the option for a while he'll cool down and find a new way to deal with people not liking his girlfriend.

Or just wait until someone with a better idea comes along ;)
