Hi

I have a question which I will try to illustrate.

Say my first forum is www.x.com/forums. Now I have picked up another domain name Y. Both the forums deal with the same subject matter.

I am wondering, if i can have www.y.com/forums to point to the same forum database (www.x.com/forums) without any technical problem. How do I accomplish this. One thing I am worried about the is the domains names in the forums options being different, will it cause problems.

Also, from the perspectibe of google, will they consider this as cloking? Since its the same posts getting cached twice under 2 different domain names?

Please help

Your best off choosing one or the other to redirect to one main one :)

I just wanna make it look like the URL's look different for different domains. With redirect..is it possible?

It is possible, you would need to contact your hosting provider to add the additional domain.

from what i gather you would just login as normal through either of the 2 domains you wish, as regards to googles policys on url 'cloaking' im not sure.

Edit: Im actually in the process of doing the very same thing, (just waiting on my host).
