where do you post general vb questions?

I've got some templates questions, but every forum seems to have "this is NOT for questions"

uh, thanks

Template questions should be posted at http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/ .

I'm not looking to mod/hack something, I just have a simple support question- something's a bit screwed up, and I'm wondering how to go about fixing it.

why, exactly, is there an entirely different board just for that, though? X_x

if its a bug report it on www.vbulletin.com/forum

if its about a template go to www.vbtemplates.com/mods to see if you can find a fix

if its a hack ask it here

it's a hack- or was originally. this is vb 2.2.9.

someone else had managed all the admin things before, but I was recently made in charge. now, when I install hacks, this is a HUGE pain in the ass... and I'm almost positive all of those aren't needed. how can I find out which ones aren't even used?

because as it is, if a hack requires say, 4 template modifications, I need to do that modification 4 * 6 times. if it's 5, 5 *6, etc. real pain in the ass- and I KNOW most of those aren't being used.

thanks. :\

Use vB3 which will inherit template changes to child sets (where the children do not override the templates).

Or use one template set and one master style set. There isn't a reason that most sites need multiple styles; just put all the effort into maintaining the one.

I don't think you got what I meant.

I'm almost positive most of these aren't being used AT ALL, in no way, but how can I go about figuring out which ones that happens to be?
