There's a nice hack, to change language for guest here (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=59564&page=1&pp=15)

I would like to be able to change language per forum, for example if I go to a forum 1, language1 will be used, if I go to forum 2, language 2 will be used. (given that I have those languages). It would act just like templates.

Or if I can use URL to control language:

http://www.myforum.com/index.php?languageid=1

will display my forum in language 1.

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=85779&page=2&pp=15&highlight=language

it'd be great if someone can give me some suggestion on how to do this.

I don't understand why just so few people have asked for this really usefull hack yet.

If you could just adjust the language by forum id this would allow to have a multilingual forum without problem. The English user could e.g. go at once to the English forum and the German/Russsian/French user could go to their specific forums in their language from a starting page...

So I also definitely ask for this hack.

Me too! This would be perfect for forums where most are in English, but select forums are devoted to discussions in a different language.

Sorry to bring up this old post from 2004. I came across this thread via search and am wondering if there is any hack out for this yet. :)

Rumor has it that this functionality will be included in vBulletin 3.5.

That would be nice.

In the mean time, hack from JoergZ would be fine... :D

It's not perfect performance-wise (adds 1 query) and I am not sure that it does not produce side-effects, but might do the trick.

THANK YOU!

I wonder why I never came upon your hack with all the searches I did?

That would explain it! LOL :)

Just visited your page KirbyDE, and I just want to say that it looks great. In fact, it's pretty much what I am trying to duplicate! :P

How long did it take you to get the site looking the way it looks now?

The "Top 10 Products" from AdultShop, is that hard-coded HTML or dynamic content that you retrieve from AdultShop?

Once again, Kudos for your work!
